Proper Training is important for the Temple of the Moon. As our expanding abilities on the island increase, many things become possible that we never dreamed of on the Mainland. And as some training helps us become closer to the goddess, some training is simply distracting.

In short, Spiritualists of the Temple of the Moon must train in a fashion that is focused and self-efficient.

Healer trainers should make of the bulk of a Spiritualist's lessons. Other trainers tend to draw one's attention from the Moon and her lessons.

Specifically, Spiritualists should not train in Bodrus, Mentus, or Hardia, in particular. Other trainers like Loovma or Skea are also distracting.

All Spiritualists train with Master Spiritus, Respia, and Higgrus.

In regard to the other Healer trainers, all of which are helpful (aside from Hardia), the Temple of the Moon stresses the importance of not being overwhelmed by the demands of Faustus, the cruelest of trainers.

A Spirituaist must also retain a degree of self-efficiency, which involves some skill in self-healing. Healers that spend much time recovering from having too much Faustus, or much time self-healing slow down the natural flow of the Moon, and make poor Spiritualists.

Training is never a matter of a number of ranks, or ratios of ranks. While these terms might facilitate conversation and are used by Spiritualists, one must always train for effect. That is, a healer should measure her skills in the larger world, and base her training on her needs.

While the demands of the goddess of the Moon are strict, and the training sacrifices asked of Spiritualists are steep, there is room for many kinds of Healers that worship the goddess. Senior Spiritualists guide new members of the Temple until they, too, are ready to guide others.
